Jak znakomita większość Polaków gramy z WOŚP. Od lat, z mniejszym lub większym zaangażowaniem, ale co roku bierzemy udział. Nasze córki były wolontariuszkami w szkole podstawowej, gimnazjum, liceum, jak nie kwestowały działały w sztabie. Dlaczego? Bo chciały, bo fajnie jest mieć poczucie robienia czegoś dobrego, bycia częścią świetnej akcji. Nie piszę tego by się chwalić, bo wystarczy mi jak innym uczestnikom ta satysfakcja, że znowu się udało, że ludzie dali ile mogli jedni mniej drudzy więcej, ale że razem to naprawdę spora suma.
W tym roku moja satysfakcja jest dużo większa. Oprócz tradycyjnych puszkowych wkładek postanowiłam przekazać kilka moich prac na aukcje WOŚP. Nie licząc na wielki sukces przekazałam 5 bransoletek i z niepokojem obserwowałam, czy ktoś w ogóle je zauważy. To co się stało przeszło moje największe oczekiwania. Aukcje zakończyły się 12 lutego z takim wynikiem:

Over the years with greater or lesser commitment we've been participating in this event. Our daughters were volunteering through elementary school, junior high school and high school.
When they weren't collecting money on the streets they were helping in headquaters. Why? Because they wanted to, because it's nice to feel you are dooing something good, because it's good to be a part of such an amazing operation.
I don't mean to brag because as well as for others the satisfaction of helping others is far enough, the awarness that we did it again and we all did as much as we could to help, but this time thanks to you we managed to collect a bit more than usual ;)
This year I'm a bit more fullfiled. Apart from the usual support I decided to donate a few of the bracelets I made myself for WOŚP auctions.
Without any expectations I picked 5 bracelets and anxiously observed if anyone will even notice those.
The thing that has happened exceeds my wildest expectations. Auctions ended on Feb 12 with the following outcome:
